Christmas is over and the days of work and study are approaching with big steps. Aleksandar, a man dear to me, organized a three-day trip to one of the most beautiful cities in Germany – Dresden. We came back last night and I couldn’t resist sharing my observations with you. This excursion was a great jump out from an everyday “marathon”.
I have had a chance experience interesting things, like for example the strict obedience to rules that the old german generation have imprinted in their blood – believe me, this is not a myth. ;P
Dresden to me is a symbol of how man, with his determination, faith and cooperation can rebuild something that looked hopeless and not possible to be reconstructed. I bow down deeply before those people who rebuilt beautiful Dresden!
In the most despairing moments I wish us all to always have faith and belief that with God everything is possible. :)
Ok. Let’s go back to the decoupage and vintage style. ;)
Styrofoam ball decorated with motives from a napkin that I got a long time ago in Poland. Shaded characters and many little dots give an old look.
The little-antiqued string it is icing on the cake.
